Great food, coffee & service. This place has a well thought out design inside & out. They're very friendly & welcoming. They have a variety of breads, cookies, pastries & cake pops. I tried a powdered sugar topped brownie. It was just right & very delicious. I had a small coffee with 2 vanilla creamers - it was delicious. A variety of sandwiches is also available, with enough choices for everyone. They have an area near the doors; with tee-shirts in different colors; decorated with anime or cartoon characters and other designs. The presentation is easy to see from across the store. A gem in a place known for cheese.
I love to stop here when I'm working in the area. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I normally get a Latte and a scone, but their case is full of yummy looking treats that I'm always tempted to try. The shop is comfortable with plenty of seating and extra parking on the side. They have a small drive thru that seems to get a steady flow of customers. If you are in the area, definitely stop and support a local business!
I stopped by Tuesday morning 3/12 and got me a cinnamon roll and coffee which were delicious as per usual. The lady Marianne I believe is her name was taking on drive thru, counter, and phone orders at the same time and props to this lady and still managed to give excellent service and sent everyone on their way with thanks and good day wishes, you rarely get that now a days. Keep up the good work I will definitely be back. I am waiting for my next cheat day to try a chocolate cake slice that was recommended!!
The drinks are AMAZING the girls are always very sweet and helpful we love coming here! Their sweet latte and iced chai are the best I've had!

Best coffee and pastries in town! Lovely selection of seasonal items and the staff are super sweet! They even have a drive they if you're on the run!
Perfect spot to pick up some coffee (drive-thru is very convenient). This spot has a large selection of pastries and cupcakes to choose from and plenty of indoor seating as well. *PSthey have fresh pressed juice and protein shakes if you're headed to the gym next door.
The Sweet Life has been a great addition to Hilmar! It took some time to settle, but now it is a known place for locals whenever they want to get a coffee/pastry and to order cookies/cakes for special events. A great plus is the fact that they make keto/gluten free pastries and cookies... which is not something common in the Central Valley.
